I arrived in Australia in 1992 after graduating from Gdansk Medical Academy in Poland. I then completed an internship and GP training in Victoria. After 10 years working in private practice in Melbourne, I moved to remote Northern Territory, for a change of scene and new challenge. Now I’m back in the big smoke and loving Brisbane, a perfect medium.

I have a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology and enjoy doing shared care in pregnancy. I also love to travel so it was only logical to complete a certificate in Travel Medicine and give a good advice and swap stories with fellow travellers. Working remotely allowed me to practice emergency medicine and chronic disease with a very skilled team of nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners. I am also interested in fitness and healthy living and I love dogs (particularly one Swiss Shepherd called Alba).
