Healthy Women Medical Centre is a general practice however it also provides a subspecialty Women's Health Service, staffed by eight female medical practitioners. All medical practitioners come from a background in general practice but have developed a special interest in Women's Health.
As well as the general medical concerns, there are many common health issues that Australian women face on a day to day basis such as:- depression, anxiety, menstrual problems, eating disorders, fertility issues, menopausal problems, breast concerns.
The Practice prides itself on giving its patients quality service where the time is taken to listen carefully to their concerns and help them find solutions
The Practice is owned and operated by Jeff and Sarah Lock who took over the business in 2005.
Sarah (an Employment Lawyer), decided after having her first child on a change of environment and took on the challenge of running the medical centre. Five years on the practice has evolved into one of Brisbane’s most well known General Practices, specialising in Women’s Health.
